That is exactly why Ask Katie exists.
This site began with a simple belief: good food should be approachable, seasonal, practical, and genuinely enjoyable to eat. You will find everything from vegetable-forward soups, salads, and grain dishes to comforting pastas, braai favourites, family dinners, and the occasional indulgent treat. While I spent years cooking vegetarian and vegan food, I now cook across the spectrum, which means there is room here for everyone.
If you have a question about a recipe, I would love to help. If something did not turn out quite as expected, send me a message. If you are trying to substitute an ingredient, cook for dietary restrictions, use up what is already in your fridge, or scale a recipe for a crowd, I am always happy to point you in the right direction.
